Willie Sinclair III is a fashion stylist and costume designer based in New York City. Willie currently manages a small team as lead wardrobe stylist for the syndicated talk show ‘SHERRI!’. Prior to heading the wardrobe department at SHERRI!, he graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Communication Design and the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a degree in Textile & Apparel Design. Throughout his education and career, storytelling has been a primary concern for Willie and he uses design-thinking to create authentic looks for his clients that contain an eclectic blend of established and emerging brands. Willie creates truthful and iconic narratives with fashion and has an eye for creative direction. He is quickly becoming one of the fashion industry’s most buzzed about talents.
He is celebrated for his inclusion praxis and his ability to transform style for diverse clients. Most recently Willie was nominated for an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Costume Design/Styling for his work on Season 1 of SHERRI! His work has been featured in a range of publications including The New York Times Magazine, W Magazine, PAPER Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Variety, and The Wrap. For 3 years Willie also served as the lead stylist for “The Wendy Williams Show” distributed by Debmar-Mercury a subsidiary of Lionsgate Television. He has also collaborated with brands such as Dapper Dan x Gucci, The Blonds and Reebok.
Willie is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 764: Theatrical Wardrobe Union and the Television Academy.
